I’m Alissa Snowden, DNP, PMHNP-BC, RNC-OB, a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of experience caring for Montana women and families as a labor and delivery nurse. My extensive background in perinatal nursing, combined with advanced training in psychiatric mental health and reproductive psychiatry, provides a unique perspective on the connection between mental health, reproductive health, and the many transitions throughout a woman’s life.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Montana State University. I am board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and am a Registered Nurse certified in Inpatient Obstetrics. I have also completed advanced training in reproductive mental health through the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Women’s Mental Health NP Masterclass in Reproductive Mental Health.

As a wife and mother who grew up in Montana, I’m proud to provide psychiatric care to women in my community and throughout the state. I offer in-person appointments in Missoula and telehealth across Montana.
